Having Holiday Fun

One thing that the long recession left us all with is the reality that we have to make our own good times.  And that doesn’t always mean having more money or “stuff”.  Good friends, valuing the relationships that have carried us through, enjoying sharing time and talent when the treasure is in short supply — these things are always withing arms’ reach.

This week were were able to participate in a holiday event with our friends at SMPS to raise money for a book Drive for the Lurie Children’s Hospital.  Some years are really flush/other are not — but everyone had fun at this event!  Hopefully all the Santa hats were purchased as raffle chances for this great cause.

Here’s hoping that you all have a Cush Christmas!
