Did you know Cushing has been a family-owned business almost ninety years? And each one in Chicago! We are proud of the longevity, productivity, and writing the next chapter. This includes a very special announcement and recognition we could not have earned without the commitment of our staff, customers and local business community:
Cushing has won the 2018 Illinois Family Business of the Year Award (small business category).
Cushing is Approaching 90 Years in Business!
Over 400 submissions were received. It is truly a special honor and we’re beyond elated to share.
Presented by the Family Business Center at Loyola University Chicago’s Quinlan School of Business, the award recognizes companies with a strong commitment to both business and family. Congratulations to fellow finalists: Daprato Rigali Studios, A. Perry Homes and Batavia Enterprises.
We made the big screen!
Sharpening our pencils (or should we say powering up our laptops and workstations), we did our best to tell our story from a different perspective. Completing award applications is a humbling experience and fun challenge: you uncover company roots, company accomplishments and lessons learned. At the core is the the amazing & diligent team you get to work with each day.
Cushing University was a factor in the award.
From a school field trip program called Cushing University to an ongoing event series, and annual customer service week celebration, there was so much to discuss, in and around our graphics lab.
