A Giclée Print Rolls Off The Printer
What is Giclée?

Great question! Giclée printing means an archive-quality reproduction using pigment-based ink jet technology, typically on fine art papers and canvas. Send us digital files of your artwork and we can discuss materials. With the evolution of technology, the archival, high resolution ink-jet print can now be reproduced on a variety of substrates.

Still not convinced? Read all about the what and why of Giclée here.

Fine Art Printing

We keep the following papers in stock:

  • Solvent or Archival (cannot be wrapped) Canvas
  • Hahnemühle Photorag
  • Hahnemühle German Etching

Fine art projects are printed using archival pigment inks to ensure a top quality piece every time.

Turn Time

We typically ask for a minimum of two business days for most fine art projects. Any projects that require gallery wrapping, framing or specialty finishing will require some extra time. We can provide a more accurate turn time for you after discussing your project.

Framing

If you plan on framing your piece, please build a border into the file you supply us. If you are unable to do this, please be sure to let us know you would like to print your supplied file with a border.

Scanning

Please note that we DO NOT currently have the ability to scan fine art prints in-house, but we have partners who can assist with these projects. Because of this, we may take longer to generate a quote for requests including fine art scanning. Please keep in mind that these projects will take more time (usually a few extra days) to complete.
