Canvas Printing

What Is It?

"Gallery Wrapped" is a term referring to the way canvas is stretched over 1-1/2" to 2" wooden frame supports. Wrapped edges can be finished with a selected colored border or a continuation of the primary image.

Expertise Is Important to the Process

Images are carefully reviewed by our experienced staff and quality concerns are identified prior to print production. Available in image widths up to 55" in a standard and smooth weave, our archival-quality canvas is specifically created for fine art printing. State-of-the-art pigmented inks achieve maximum archival longevity and produce high definition prints exhibiting a wide color gamut.

Long Lasting

Once printed, canvas must be protected to protect image quality and ensure longevity. Protective coatings come in gloss and satin finishes and are hand applied to offer a painterly, slightly textural coating as opposed to a uniform plasticity of a factory finish. It also has the added benefit of providing additional UV protection. Finishes are eco-friendly, with no VOC off-gassing, and serve as a protective barrier to harmful UV light. All stretcher bars are made to order from renewable resource hardwood. Cross bracing is provided every 36" and corners are braced on larger prints to maximize stability.
